SUPPORT US

“We have treasured a supporting friendship as benefactors with NZSQ since 1992. To join an ensemble like the New Zealand String Quartet has allowed us to share in their development, and watch and witness their growth over the years. Our rewards are great and deeply satisfying and the music they interpret and play has fed our inner being.”

The New Zealand String Quartet Trust exists so that New Zealanders from all walks of life can experience the best chamber music in the world at home. In everything we do we aspire to nurture the positive benefits of music in New Zealand society and to enrich our nation’s cultural life in a dynamic and contemporary way.

The ongoing success of the New Zealand String Quartet is very much dependent on the goodwill of you, our sponsors and patrons.

Donations are essential to our work. Your support enables us to continue performing to audiences around New Zealand, present New Zealand music overseas, develop our players, commission composers, collaborate with other New Zealand artists and present our vital education and community programmes.

Please help us continue to enrich and inspire this generation and the next by joining our circle of sponsors, patrons and supporters.

ADAM SUMMER SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIPS

Support A Student

"The Adam Summer School is a sort of pressure cooker, with music, people, and hard-earned experience all thrown in. Set the temperature on high for a week, let all the ingredients marinade together, and at the end of the week out pops this amazing degustation of flavoursome, ear-warming music..."

If you are passionate about the next generation of young musicians, we invite you to become an Adam Summer School Scholarship Sponsor. Each year up to 30 of Aotearoa New Zealand’s best young string players and pianists are selected to attend this week-long summer school in Nelson.
