Chamber Music New Zealand 2019 Season

We return to Chamber Music New Zealand’s Regional Series playing favourites from Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms and Shostakovich as well as work, Bai sanxian, by Jack Body. We worked closely with Jack over several decades at the New Zealand School of Music - his output includes a great variety of forms from opera to electroacoustic compositions and often draws on his ability to take inspiration from non-western music such as Indonesian gamelan.

“The NZSQ is a treasure, a taonga. Cherish them.” - Nelson Mail
