New Zealand works on tour in Heartland Classics

Chamber Music New Zealand ‘QuintEssence’ tour

In September, we’re very much looking forward to joining Grammy-nominated American violist James Dunham for the Chamber Music New Zealand QuintEssence tour. Travelling to 7 centres around New Zealand, the tour highlights masterpieces by Brahms and Mozart, plus a new commission for quartet by New Zealand composer Salina Fisher.

Hear three of the 19th century’s most important musical works at Pah Homestead

The three works we have selected for our concert at Auckland's historic Pah Homestead on Tuesday 7 June at 6pm were some of the most significant in the lives of the composers who wrote them – masters of the 19th century Rachmaninov, Mendelssohn and Smetana.
