About the event
Local Heroes
Warren Art Gallery and Museum is a new multi-million dollar build not to be missed. With state of the art projectors in play, the Warren Chamber Music Festival will deliver its first multi media immersive commemoration performance titled 'Local Heroes' curated by the indefatigable Peter Clark.
This collaborative performance will commemorate the sacrifice and service of returned and fallen service men and women of the Warren Shire over the past 110 years. Be changed by the music, be transformed by the moving and still images washing across the musicians as they play, and be amongst other people who share a war story of loss, sacrifice, courage, love and companionship.
About Warren Chamber Music Festival | 1 - 4 May
Four spectacular world class concerts with the finest musicians from across the southern hemisphere.
The Warren Chamber Music Festival has grown to be a signature event for the region, attracting visitors from across New South Wales, and interstate. Our festival celebrates the heritage, hard work, and resilience that define rural life through transformative performances that inspire, empower and educate in iconic locations across the Warren Shire.
In 2025, the Warren Chamber Music Festival presents three totally unique and breathtaking concerts with the New Zealand String Quartet, Australia's most innovative Clarinet Quartet, the central west's very own SING Warren community choir, special guests Alexandra Partridge, Zoe Freisberg, Tom Higham and festival director Frances Evans.
The Friday evening event includes a World Premiere of a commissioned work for the festival by revered Australian composer Anne Cawrse. Plus, don't miss rural Australia's first immersive live and digital commemoration performance in the Warren Museum and Gallery, paying tribute to the sacrifice and service of men and women from the Warren Shire district, and more broadly, rural Australia.
