INTRODUCING OUR 2025 SEASON

Toe-tapping, awe-inspiring, boundary-pushing chamber music.

NZSQ 2025 SEASON

Discover the joy of chamber music in a season designed for everyone! Whether you’re a lifelong fan or new to the genre, choose how you want to connect with the music by exploring our four unique series: In Concert, In Collaboration, In Your Community and Pathways.

We’ll begin in Nelson in January with a visit to our friends at the Teapot Valley Choral Camp Finale Concert as they ‘go out with a bang’. February will bring the familiar frenzy and joy of the Adam Summer School for Chamber Music and the Adam Chamber Music Festival Summer Gala Event. These events will mark the beginning of the Fellowship Quartet, an ensemble of emerging musicians whom we are proudly supporting as they develop their careers. March will see us present two exciting collaborations: the return of the much-loved Irish Airs & Graces and a brand-new cross-disciplinary work, 100 Winds, in collaboration with the New Zealand Dance Company.

The rest of 2025 will be filled with toe-tapping, awe-inspiring, boundary-pushing chamber music. From epic works for chamber orchestra by Shostakovich to the premiere of a brand-new New Zealand piece; from dancers to poets; from your local community centre to the depths of space, we’re bringing the music to you.

Read on to explore our four series and find something to tune into.

EXPLORE EACH SERIES

This series honours the rich repertoire of the classical canon while spotlighting New Zealand composers. In Concert showcases our signature style, blending engaging introductions with captivating performances of both familiar and fresh works, shared with audiences across Aotearoa.

Collaboration

This exciting series pushes the boundaries of what chamber music can be. Working across genres and art forms, In Collaboration will bring us together with artists and organisations to create vibrant and eclectic experiences.
