The New Zealand String Quartet – this country’s foremost performing arts group - has appointed a new manager. Christine Argyle will start at the end of October 2014 and replaces Rose Campbell who has retired for family reasons having been manager of the Quartet for three years.

Music students wanting to participate in the 21st Annual Adam Summer School for Chamber Music from 7 - 15 February, 2015 have until 24 October to apply. The annual Adam Summer School is presented by the New Zealand String Quartet and held in Nelson each February.
