The New Zealand String Quartet warmly congratulates NZ composer Michael Norris on receiving the SOUNZ Contemporary Award at last week’s APRA Silver Scroll Awards. Michael’s winning composition, Inner Phases, was premiered by the New Zealand String Quartet and the Forbidden City Orchestra at the New Zealand Festival in February this year.
