Sunday November 13th brings us the New Zealand Quartet. Never has a string quartet been based farther away (>14000 kilometers). They will proudly present music of their home country as well as the ardent Grieg G minor quartet we don't often get to hear.
In November we return to the Ottawa International Chamber Music Festival for an evening of essential chamber music, performing with cellist, Paul Marleyn. Featuring quartets by Haydn, Farr and Rachmaninoff, the evening will close with one of the greatest chamber works of all time, Schubert’s sublime cello quintet in C major.
