The New Zealand String Quartet returns to Summer Music with one of Beethoven’s great middle period quartets, opus 59 “Rasumovsky" No. 1, full of sweeping lines and deep emotion. The programme opens with Stravinsky’s cheeky “Concertino” for string quartet, written in 1920.
